5.0 out of 5 stars Animated Club Love Song?July 15, 2015
This review is from: Come Alive (MP3 Music)
Come Alive by Paris Hilton captures the essence of what it is like to be in love and simultaneously enjoying life with the person. Come Alive by Paris Hilton is also a club dance-like type of song that illustrates the measures that love can influence someone to take such as with her lyrics in the song “I’ll Travel The World Just To Be With You” and ‘I don’t care what people will say”.

5.0 out of 5 stars Music MetamorphosisJuly 15, 2015
This review is from: Butterfly (MP3 Music)
Butterfly by Bassnectar (feat. Mimi Page) is a very ethereal type song with dreamy vocals. There is a combination of dubstep and electronica in the song.

Golden Anniversaries: The Seven Secrets of Successful Marriage

5.0 out of 5 stars Long-Term Lasting Marriage PrimerJuly 17, 2015

7 Golden Anniversaries; The Seven Secrets of Successful Marriage by Dr, Charles . Schmitz and Dr. Elizabeth A. Schmitz (dubbed the marriage doctors on the book) is more of a book for those who know and intend to take steps towards a lasting marriage. I mainly say this because I’m fortunate to have an amazing husband who helps me grow spiritually and loves me unconditionally (and I make sure to do the same for him). The authors use some illustrative points from the examples of the couples that they feature to make their point. I see the good behind this. However, I must gently comment on one portion of the book. (pages 117-146; i.e. the Golden Rule). The good points to this chapter were that helpful information was given to explain why couples must allow each other time for just themselves from time to time. The authors also generously share how some of these couples grew even closer together during the course of their marriage. However, I feel that I must speak up on the case study of Lisa, a nurse’s aide and Ken a medical professional(starts on page 129). Apparently, there was verbal abuse from Ken to Lisa, which escalated after Lisa quit her job. To heal the emotional pain, she went back to college to get her business degree and her self-confidence suddenly improved. Good for Lisa that this happened for her (I mean this sarcasm free). I do not condone emotional and/or physical abuse in a marriage regardless of who it comes from. However, when it gets controversial is when there is no mention of Ken’s side of the story on why the change in treatment towards Lisa after their honeymoon (i.e. is Lisa sure that her choice over quitting a job and staying home didn’t trigger how she treated and talked to her husband Ken as well). There was not even a positive acknowledgement of the fact that her husband also paid for her college before Lisa eventually left and divorced him (sometimes even the most emotionally supportive/nuruturing husbands are unable to and/or can’t foot the cost of college for even a first undergraduate degree let alone further certifications for a myriad of reasons). I can’t fault the authors for taking the side of the wife because it is common knowledge that sometimes even the best of the therapists, psychologists etc. lean towards the side of one spouse in the marriage. For starters, I do believe that a person who tells another person whether to divorce or stay married to their spouse takes the risk of also assuming spiritual karmic responsibility (i.e. urging a person to do so must be done with care or else it is better to take a neutral stance depending on the outcome). I just can’t help feeling, both the authors and Lisa’s friends (as well intentioned as they may have been) may have been too biased from the start when it appears that both groups steered her towards giving up on her first marriage without taking into enough account whether Ken felt emotionally abused and/or unappreciated as well. Additionally, the writing made it appear that Lisa easily gave up on her marriage and only a short time later married one of the professors (the book quotes his name as Alex)from her classes that she was enrolled in. The way it was written made it sound like Lisa did not allow enough time for introspection to truly make sure that she was ready to divorce her husband Ken and (even if Lisa made the right decision) the writing made it appear that there was also not enough time to elapse before she married the professor mentioned in this chapter (his name for the book is quoted to be Alex). I understand that people cannot help who they fall in love with and/or the circumstances when this happens. However, there was not enough mention of her first husband Ken’s side of the story (there are even magazines that at least cover both sides of the story in a marriage), Last, but not least, I truly wish Lisa well but the chapter made it appear like she filed for divorce before making sure that she took her first husband Ken into account and his feelings (maybe she actually did in real-life but it does not appear this way in the book). I only say this because if there was not enough introspection from her first marriage (including a fair discussion if her first husband wanted her to stay married to him) then there is a risk of someone getting hurt in this second marriage between Lisa and Alex (from the looks of the story, it certainly won’t be Alex). Aside from that caveat of the story involving a woman’s quick divorce and then 2nd marriage with her former professor, 7 Golden Anniversaries; The Seven Secrets of Successful Marriage by Dr. Charles D. Schmitz and Dr. Elizabeth A. Schmitz is a great book for those who know that that they are meant to be with their spouse long-term and are determined to stay married to their spouse for life regardless of what others may say.

5.0 out of 5 stars Metamorphosis to GraceJuly 17, 2015

This review is from: A Fall to Grace (Paperback)
A Fall To Grace by Sandra Ingerman is a thoughtful tale of a woman named C Alexandra who discovers that the believing in power of her spirit not only helps her anchor who she truly who is but also helps her to draw the strength within her own spiritual light during both good and challenging times. One must have an open mind to enjoy this story because the book touches on astral body travel and journeys to other non-physical worlds in an astral body form. Additionally, there is a controversial story element of C. Alexandra getting involved (during her spiritual journeys to other worlds) with a man named Etienne (he at least admits to her that he cannot commit to her beyond a casual love affair but that is partially because he is also already involved with someone else). There are other controversial elements to this otherwise gripping story that cultivate why this story is called A Fall To Grace.

This review is from: Rich Kids (Hardcover)
Rich Kids; America’s Young Heirs and Heiresses, How They Love and Hate Their Money by John Sedgwick contains among the following;
Page 82; The discussion of trips that rich kids take such as the feature of Elizabeth Meyer listed to be a trim and athletic twenty nine year old. She at least admitted that one of her passions was a thirty nine foot Concordia yacht named Matinicus because it connects her to the experiences of sailing (which she loves).
Page 164; The authors honest discussion on how there is a saying that a woman can never be too rich or too thin. The case study example given is of a wealthy female named Alice Tatum. She was a Cornell Student who dated and broke up with a potential NHL player named Frank. After they broke up, she temporarily got away and spent some time in Texas where she later found out that Frank had been following her (all the way from New York). I guess it would have been fine if she still wanted to date Frank, but it was obvious from how the story was written that she appeared to move on and Frank was still holding on hope that they would reconcile.
Page; A story of some guy named Matt who was treating his parents to his sailing craft that he named Pegasus.

The New Elite; Inside The Minds of the Truly Wealthy by Jim Taylor, Doug Harrison, and Stephen Kraus is a perfect book for people who are curious to get a partial glimpse into how the wealthy live. All three of the men listed as the authors are listed to have come from prestigious backgrounds. For instance, Taylor is listed to be one of the country’s leading experts on marketing, branding, and wealthy consumers while Harrison is credited with developing branding strategies for the world’s most successful companies. Kraus is listed to have a P.h.D. in social psychology from Harvard University. Some features of The New Elite; Inside the Minds of the Truly Wealthy are; Page 66 features some of the top media frequently read by the wealthy, page 152 lists more of the publications read by the wealthy and the average amount of money that is spent on their personal vacations. Pages 164-165 touches on luxury brand as it pertains to the wealthy classes and there is obviously so much more in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helped Me Unintentionally Gain Some Sense of ClosureJuly 17, 2015
This review is from: Closure (DVD)
My own personal experiences as a transracial adoptee growing up propelled me to check out this Closure documentary about a woman named Angela Tucker. Angela Tucker is an African American female who was raised by a Caucasian family in Washington. The documentary shows that there is very much a lot of love between Angela and her adoptive parents. Angela’s husband is also interviewed in the documentary and he is shown being very much supportive of her wanting to find her birth parents. Angela successfully finds her birth father Oterus. Fortunately Oterus accepts her into his life and he willingly agrees to have a dna test. It is confirmed (through the dna test)that Oterus is in fact Angela’s biological father. Angela’s journey to finding her biological mother gets offs to a rocky start, I want to say more on what happens between Angela and her mother but must avoid doing so for people seeing this review who want to see the documentary. I was curious to check out this Closure documentary after unintentionally seeing Angela’s story as a trans-racial adoptee featured in an Huffington post article. I was also curious to understand my own journey as Angela bravely tells her own journey because of coming from a transracial family myself (my late adoptive mother was Caucasian French and Cherokee Indian while my adoptive father is Mexican and Aztec Indian). I know for sure that I inherited my Puerto-Rican and Menominee Indian ancestry from my late biological mother (both my late biological mother and maternal grandmother are listed to be on the Menominee Indian tribal rolls in Wisconsin). However, I must admit I’m extremely grateful that I was adopted but deep down there was always an emotional conflict around wanting to know for sure what I was racially from my biological father’s side. I appreciate that my adoptive father raised me as his own daughter (as well as being grateful for my late adoptive mother)and I’m not looking to replace my adoptive father. Rather around age 32 I discovered (from a phone conversation with the man who was purported to be my bio father) that there is not actually a guarantee that he is my biological father despite what some of my family members on my late biological mother’s side may have originally thought (due to the controversial information that my bio mother worked as a prostitute even after I was born and they were still together). He at first politely offered to submit to a dna test in order to help me confirm all of my racial ethnicities and regrettably I at first declined. However, by the time I changed my mind (to confirm all of my racial identities) it was too late because I was no longer able to successfully contact him via phone. However, seeing the bold and brave journey that Angela took around locating both her birth parents (as well as showing appreciation to both her adoptive parents and husband) unexpectedly actually encouraged me to just let go of the whole idea of trying to successfully contact my birth father for a dna test (only for the purposes of confirming my full racial identity not to replace my adoptive father) and to instead just eventually order a dna test where I can find out all of my racial ancestries on my own. I’m very glad and grateful that Angela and her family members courageously shared the Closure documentary and allowed the documentary to be shown for wide public release.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interest In Soccer Clashes With Family ExpectationsJuly 15, 2015
Bend It Like Beckham is a dvd that I purchased after being exposed to and seeing the movie on television and/or the internet (around 2005/2006 when I was living in Mayport, Florida through the United States Navy). Anyhow, Bend It like Beckham is a feature about a female named Jesminder Jess Kaur Bhamra (Parminder Nagra)who has a strong passion for playing soccer. The problem with her hobby is that her parents, especially her father, are still adjusting to what she wants in life versus what they want for her. Jess loves her family, but is trying to come to terms with reconciling her dreams with keeping a strong connection with her family members. Some pop culture references; The character of Jess is shown admiring a picture of famous soccer player David Beckham (also known as husband to Spice Girl alum/fashion designer Victoria Beckham) and snippets of the song Inner Smile by Texas feature in Bend It Like Beckham. Two of the characters that Jess meets through her soccer playing Juliette Jules Paxton (Keira Knightley) and Joe (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) dramatically change her life in different ways and are both important to her growth in some way.

This review is from: Tango in the Night (Audio CD)
Tango In The Night by Fleetwood Mac contains multiple deep and meaningful songs that symbolize various facets of life. The current image of the majestic forest for Tango In The Night complements the songs in this collection perfectly. I admit that I was curious to listen to this collection after remembering three of the songs that I first heard around the time I was 7 seen featured on this collection. For instance, for some reason unknown to me, I was first captivated by the song Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac when I first heard it on the radio (around the age of 7). The well-known track Little Lies is also featured on the Tango of the Night Collection. There are other meaningful songs featured on this Tango In The Night collection (via Fleetwood Mac) that I was not previously familiar with such as Mystified. Anyhow Tango In The Night by Fleetwood Mac is perfect for eclectic music lovers and/or those who are fine with listening to 80’s soft rock.

5.0 out of 5 stars Romance In The Here and Now?July 15, 2015
Beautiful Now by Zedd (ft. Jon Bellion) is one of those daring love electronic/club love songs that touches on there here and now moment of spending private time with another person who leaves a big impression in one’s heart. However, the lyrics Beautiful Now capture the meaning of enjoying the company of someone in the present moment with little regard as to what tomorrow may hold such as with the lyrics “we might now know why we might not know how, but baby tonight we’re beautiful now.”

5.0 out of 5 stars Pride In Love?July 15, 2015
Good For You by Selena Gomez (feat. A$ap Rocky)is a superlative pop/dance love ballad that symbolizes the way a person strives even more to be the best version of themselves when they have romantic feelings for someone and/or they are deeply in love. Basically, the lyrics let me show you how proud I am to be yours” provides a strong message that the singer takes pride in looking and feeling good for the significant other in their life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Distinctive Side of PinkJuly 17, 2015
As with millions of other people, I was introduced to Pink when her song There You Go was released via radio airplay and television during the late 90’s/early 2000’s. Greatest Hits So Far by Pink showcases a brilliant pop/rock medley of many of the tunes that demonstrate her imaginative spirit such as Get The Party Started, Sober, Raise Your Glass, Perfect etc. The only caveat from my perspective; I’m surprised to not see Most Girls by Pink on this collection (which is also a good song, yet Pink probably has understandable reasons why Most Girls is currently unavailable on this collection). I had first heard Most Girls by Pink on a various artists music collection when I was stationed in Japan around late 2000/early 2001.

This review is from: Ultra Dance 16 (Audio CD)
I admit that I pre-ordered Ultra Dance 16 on January 30, 2015 because of how much I liked the music on Ultra 2015. Ultra Dance 2016 is a two disc set that contains 12 songs each from some of the dance music industry’s most popular names (Calvin Harris, John Newman, David Guetta, Sam Martin, Mr. Probz, Chris Brown, T.I.,, Ed Sheeran, Steve Aoki, Fall Out Boy, Hardwell, Chris Jones, and many more. I also wonder if such dance/electronic music collections such as Ultra Dance 16 and other music compilations are used as basis for future new music releases within the music industry (not that there is anything wrong with this, I actually think it is a good idea). However, the reason why I say this is because many can see when Ultra Dance 2016 was released. However, I have noticed (both on a music radio station that I listen to out of Norfolk Virginia and on multiple local radio stations out here) that the catchy/upbeat song Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix) by Omi is on Ultra Dance 2016 and has been surging in popularity more and more during this summer.

I ended up purchasing this 2cd set of Trevor Simpson & Cato K present Ultra 2008 because I was looking for a song by musician Pitbull that I first heard in Norfolk, Virginia (the song is called crazy). Thing song is not on this collection, but fortunately I obtained this collection at a very low price and found a multiple number of other gems on this collection. There are enjoyable songs by Tiesto feat. BT, Yanou, Armand Van Helden, Plumb, Gwen Stefani, Pink, and many others. There is even an eclectic club dance mix with the song Calabria 2007 by Enur featuring the late singer Natasja Saad and many more fun songs on this collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Expect That Some Men And Even Some Women May Naturally Cringe At and/or Look Away At This ReviewJuly 17, 2015
I admit that I’m a little nervous about reviewing (under my real name) The Always Brand of 36 count pads (Overnight Extra Heavy With Flexi Wings Unscented) due to what the product is even though it is obvious they are meant for a female’s menstrual cycle. Fortunately, they are often available at my job at an affordable price but I felt the need to list and reference them because for women with extremely heavy menstrual cycles they are a necessary purchase. The 36 count is usually good for lasting at least one to two months (for women with heavier menstrual cycles). I’m often fortunate in being able to buy them when they are available in stock at one of the stores here within the D.C. area. However, there were actually times where I had to scurry to another store because of both the Always 36 count and 20 count (Overnight Extra Heavy Flow for menstrual cycles)being scarcely available and in high demand. There was even one time when my husband was forced to order them for me in a hurry online (when we were living in Norfolk Virginia) because the Always overnight extra heavy flow brand I needed sold out at a local store by where I lived.

5.0 out of 5 stars England BoundJuly 17, 2015
This review is from: Minions (Amazon Instant Video)
Minions was a quirky film that basically told the origins of where the group of minions came from in a zany and kind of quirky way. It is more of a movie to see if you are looking for something not so serious, but a film to help make you laugh. The movie gets even funnier when the minions team up with the villain Scarlett Overkill (Sandra Bullock) and her husband Herb Overkill (Jon Hamm) ( a scene that displays that there are also multiple actors/actresses who lend their voices for Minions is shown through the family that helps three of minions get to Orlando Florida’s Villiancon and at the Villiancon event itself). Once in England, Scarlett tells her newfound hires what their job is going to be within minutes of flying them to London England. The movie going audience basically gets a foreshadowing of Scarlett Overkills inside character when she decides to tell them a bedtime story in her own style.

643 (Love’s On Fire) by DJ Tiesto is one of those daring songs that is basically communicates the meaning through the title because of the lyrics my love is on fire, my love melts into your heart like a moth into the heat etc. The steamy campfire video (of multiple people involved)currently available online symbolizes the meaning of the song even more as well.

The other thing that I enjoy about Coming Home by Armin Van Buuren are the relaxing vocals sprinkled within the song.

I admit that I’m mainly aware of the Ever After High series due to seeing the book and the dolls featured at my job around late 2013. I remember putting up one of the Ever After High dolls during the beginning weeks around the my job’s grand opening to the public. I was thinking that the summary of one of the dolls I saw does sound like a good cartoon to watch. Imagine my surprise when I did discover that there is both a cartoon and book series around the Ever After High Dolls. This book Ever After High once Upon A Time; A Story Collection by Shannon Hale is a fascinating and original read for both aspiring writers/scriptwriters and people who simply enjoy uplifting fantasy stories (including for children obviously). This book creatively tells various tales of offspring who are living a happy and enriching life but there is also understandable emotional conflict around wanting to avoid following in the family legacy if it is shadowy. For instance, the story of Apple White and The Ebony-Haired Legacy shows a girl who very much enjoys life while preparing to follow a destiny similar to her mother Snow White. Quirky pop culture references are shrewdly sprinkled and Snow White is mentioned as being a big music lover and an implied fan of One Reflection and their song You Don’t Know You’re Charming (I’m guessing a respectful tribute to One Direction’s You Don’t Know You’re Beautiful). Apple White enjoys listening to music on her Mirror Phone. Then there is the story of the Raven Queen and the Mirror Prison featuring Raven Queen, a direct descendant of the Evil Queen in the story of Snow White (due to Raven Queen being the Evil Queen’s daughter). Raven Queen loves her mother, but is understandably conflicted about following the dark destiny that her mother expects her to. Raven Queen is mentioned as being an implied fan of Tailor Quick because she is listening to a Tailor Quick album on her MirrorPod (I’m guessing polite homage to the Apple iphone and/or Apple ipod). Fortunately, the enjoyable cartoon series of Ever After High is currently available for free on Netflix and Youtube (although I’m currently unsure of how long it will be free). Watching the cartoon series gives an important creative glimpse into the characters and plot development of ever after high. For me, one of the reasons why I’m glad to have unexpectedly come across the series (as an aspiring writer/scriptwriter) is due to the brilliant and unique story development in an enchanting mystical world.

Chicken Soup For The Writer’s Soul; Stories To Open The Heart and Rekindle The Spirit of Writers by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Bud Gardner is a book that caught my interest due to my own intent to write stories (regardless of whether I get published). I’m fortunate to have been exposed to various meaningful works by an eclectic range of authors though I have to admit that two pivotal events triggered my interest to eventually write on the side. The first experience was when I was around 11-13 years old and my adoptive father was playfully joking around with one of my sisters and I on what we would become. I admit that I truly couldn’t tell whether he might have appeared to be joking or serious when he said that I will become a writer (though subconsciously in my mind I decided to keep that as a good idea in mind for future reference regardless of whether it was meant to be serious). Another pivotal episode was when I was stationed in Japan around 2002 and someone casually remarked that my writing indicates an interest within my soul that could prove healing to eventually explore. Last, but not least, a third experience that trigged my interest was during the summer of 2011 when I chose to retell Morgana’s side of the story as her own narrator for a creative writing class from a sympathetic viewpoint(the character from the Excalibur movie). I intuitively realized that the fun I had in retelling the story was pointing to something more. There are so many more experiences from at least 4 or more years back, but I feel compelled to share among the following stories in this book;
From An Abyss To The Mountaintop;(pages 36-40)-A comedy writer (Larry Wilde0 discusses his journey that he undertook on the way towards creating some of his writings (such as the book The Great Comedians Talk About Comedy).
Pages 144 and 145; Author Irving Wallace discusses the role that imagination plays in writing and she gives the innovative example of Leonardo DaVinci and his last supper painting.
Page 303- The healing title called The Power of Perseverance that discusses examples such as writer Amy B. Harris describing why it is important to keep writing even in the face of rejection and believing in yourself. She relates her own story of trying to get a 500 page story published over at least three years ( through the V.I.P publisher channels).

A Day Without Rain by Enya is also the fourth cd in my husband’s collection that I greatly enjoy as well. I personally know that my spouse has had this cd since at least Japan because he played A Day Without Rain by Enya a lot during our first months of meeting and knowing each other in Japan. A Day Without Rain by Enya has multiple gorgeous and beautiful songs within this collection such as A Day Without Rain, Wild Child, Only Time (which was also featured in the Sweet November movie starring Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron). Anyhow, A Day Without Rain is perfect for those who enjoy music fusions of new age, chillout, and classical music genres.

On the plus side, he liked the cd and there was even one of the songs at one of the end that he told me yesterday that he likes. Demon Days by Gorillaz also includes the well-known and catchy alternative rock song Feel Good. Dare is also a musically strong song on Demon Dayz. However, Demon Days by Gorillaz is also one of those alternative rock collections that you can play multiple times and end up liking the songs within the collection more and more on each listen.

Yes, Eminem is a controversial public figure, however The Eminem Show by Eminem is another cd (hip-hop collection) that I found in my husband’s music collection in order to open my mind to the type of music he likes (this was another cd that he purchased around the time that it was released, which would mean that he either purchased it in Iceland or Japan). Cleanin Out My Closet and Without Me are some of the popular and thought provoking songs that are on The Eminem show. However, I admit to finding Soldier also to be a buzzworthy type of song because of the controversy that still brews today among people from various walks of life on what is best for the military industrial complex system and manpower discussions (especially in the wake of recent online news that the Army is scheduled to implement a massive troop cut). Nonetheless, The Eminem Show by The Eminem is also a strong cd for those who are eclectic music collectors of music from the early 2000’s.

American Idiot by Greenday is actually a cd that my husband purchased around the time that it was released when he was still in Japan (through the navy). I have had an intuitive feeling to also check out more of the music that my husband listens to, with this cd being one of them. As many know, multiple songs on the American Idiot cd by Greenday have deep meanings that touch on various life issues such as American Idiot, Holiday,Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends. Listening to this whole superb rock cd is an amusing experience though I admit to Extraordinary Girl being one of my favorite songs from this collection (for some reason). Anyhow, American Idiot by Greenday is a meaningful rock collection for those who like music from the early 2000’s

This review is from: The Bucket List (DVD)
I disclose that I actually purchased this Bucket List dvd (Starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson) from my job for just 5 dollars at least over three to four months ago. This movie stars Jack Nicholson as billionaire hospital businessman Edward Cole and Morgan Freeman as a hard working car mechanic named Carter Chambers who also has a passion for history. Both Edward Cole and Carter Chambers strike up an unexpected friendship after meeting in a hospital while fighting for their lives. Ironically enough, Edward Cole is rushed to the hospital after having a meeting pertaining to his business dealings with a hospital. Carter Chambers if first shown eventually being rushed to the hospital after successfully answering some trivia questions given to him by a coworker and mentioning about Tesla. There is also a cultural reference to the Divine Comedy in this film. Edward Cole has led a very successful material life, but his relationships have been another story. Meanwhile, Carter Chambers loves his wife Virginia Chambers (Beverly Todd0 and other members of his family a lot. However, Chambers decides to go on a bucket list trip with Cole because all of mostly his grown life has been spent putting others before himself. Chambers realizes that he wants to use some of his remaining months to enjoy his life before he dies. One of the touching scenes in the film is where the character of Cole is shown diplomatically but firmly insisting to his doctor that he also asks Chambers if he has any health questions as well instead of leaving him to wait longer than needed for the other doctor. Some of the adventures that Edward Cole and Carter Chambers go on together involve bungee jumping and going on a safari via seeing some animals. Cole’s assistant Matthew (Sean Hayes) helps tend to Cole’s end of life business dealings and the bucket list trip. The following features to this film are; movie trailers for Semi-Pro, Bernard and Doris, Mama’s Boy, and Get Smart. The Screenwriter of Bucket List (under the special feature of Writing A Bucket List) explains the idea behind why he decided to script The Bucket List (Mario Sorrenti is credited to have played a role in directing the Bucket List). There is also an additional bonus of getting more special features if this dvd is inserted in the dvd rom player of a personal computer. Last,, but not least, this dvd has a special feature of the music video for Say What You Need To Say by John Mayer (including scenes for the movie).

5.0 out of 5 stars Complementary Meat CoatingJuly 17, 2015
My husband and I eagerly tried this Kraft Shake N Bake Parmesan Crusted(4.75 ounce mix) on some porkchops after my mother in law bought us this flavor package from the prime panty along with some other flavors. I lke that the Parmesan Crust is not too salty and had the right hints of Parmesan and seasoning flavor to go with the porkchops.

5.0 out of 5 stars Affordable And Does the JobJuly 17, 2015
I admit that I’m so thankful that my mother-in-law purchased multiples bottle of this Suave Men’s Body Wash, Hair and Body 2 in One (12 Ounce) because both my husband and I use this (which fortunately the hubby is accepting and fine with it because of the affordable price). I admit that I use it as both a bodywash and shampoo (as it is intended because I go through a lot of shampoo and bodywash just in a week). Going for an affordable combination of the 2 in one Suave bodywash and shampoo also allows me to splurge a little for my hair conditioner (which for my hair type the hair conditioner matters more than the shampoo I use). This 12 ounce bottle of Suave Men 2X Fresh and Clean, Hair and Body Wash 2-in-1 by Suave is perfect for people looking for an inexpensive 2 in one body wash and shampoo that also happens to have a pleasant scent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Careful Equilibrium of Cinnamon and SugarJuly 17, 2015
I actually obtained this 18 ounce of Quaker Life Cinnamon multigrain cereal from my job. However, this was another cereal that I have actually grown up with (I was frequently allowed to eat it due to the fact that it has the right amount of sugar and cinnamon, not too sweet). Additionally, this cereal is often sold at a good size and affordable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Right Distribution of SweetnessJuly 17, 2015
I admit that it was easy for me to purchase a 64 ounce bottle of cherry juicy juice from my job recently because it is truthfully one of the drinks that satisfy my thirst when I prefer to avoid drinking soda or only drinking it in moderation, but need a less sinful alternative to passing up some of the healthier liquids especially during the summer (such as Gatorade, tang, water). Yes, I know that this drink is actually technically tailored to kids. However, I admit that I have been drinking this on and off ever since my late adoptive mother gave this to me when I contracted a painful sore throat around the age of 10. I like that this cherry juicy juice is not too sweet, but still tastes good enough when a little water is added.

This review is from: Road House (DVD)
Roadhouse was another one of the films that for some reason I was curious to see again (I first saw in my teens) in order to get a glimpse and understanding in what my late adoptive mother enjoyed and how it may have indirectly influenced my own interests (due to the fact that Patrick Swayze was one of my late adoptive mother’s favorite actors). Anyhow Roadhouse has Patrick Swayze starring as James Dalton a skilled bouncer who does not hesitate to stand up for himself or anybody who breaks the given rules at the bars that he works at. James Dalton is working at a popular New York City Bar when Frank Tilghman (Kevin Tighe) offers him a job working at a bar that he is opening in Missouri. James Dalton ends up running the new bar very well, but ends up having to deal with some of the locals in his new hometown wanting to seek revenge in a harsh way. What complicates matters is that falls in love with a woman named Dr. Elizabeth Clay who has a past history with influential businessman Brad Wesley. Brad Wesley is a harsh rival going after Dalton because of the threat that Dalton poses to how he has previously run things. Dalton finds out about Clay’s history because a popular musician named Cody (Jeff Healey) told him Clay’s past marriage. Dalton’s friend Wade Garrett (Sam Elliott) becomes concerned about the well-being of Dalton after a phone call due to Dalton dating an ex of a hostile enemy. Wade also questions the danger and risks of Dalton staying in his adopted Missouri hometown.
