I confess that I was
drawn to these links because it is common knowledge throughout all
socio-economic classes (poor, rich etc.)and walks of life that usually a person
wants to be friends and/or romantic partners with someone that is at least on
their level intellectually or better. This story of Professor Anna Stubblefield
blew my mind because I was highly surprised that someone As Accomplished as
herself would give up all for a student that she says that she loved And who
she had to have known would Also cause her to be harshly judged by
others. I Admit that I too was unsure of Anna Stubblefield’s innocence
until I read that the student is in his 30’s, she was Actually planning to
marry him, and after picking up on the sadness and concern for Anna
Stubblefield from her daughter Zoe Stubblefield who implies her innocence.
Additionally, the support from both Anna Stubblefield’s father and brother
shown through the New York Times article made me think that Stubblefield could
in fact be innocent. If her request to have her conviction overturn
is set into motion through another trial it would probably be a good idea if
the panel of jurors include professors from various colleges as well as people
from various professional/employment backgrounds within the state that the
trial is held who have Also worked with A diverse group of college students in
order to ensure a fair trial. Even if it does turn out that the student
actually gave consent I do find this case extremely shocking especially from
the sometimes truth is stranger than fiction angle. However, I prefer to remove
my own biases from what I personally think of this story because Anna
Stubblefield could in fact be innocent especially because of how much Anna
Stubblefield’s daughter, father, and brother have come to her in defense and
stood by her when many other family members and/or friends would easily bail
and/or choose not to defend the accused even if innocent. The fact that
Stubblefield’s father And brother were even potentially ready to welcome the
student in the family (even with what they knew about the student’s history
regarding his learning/cognitive abilities) speaks volumes of their support of
Anna Stubblefield even if I’m unsure of her potential innocence.

Yes, I know that this

this is more of a written reminder to myself to start organizing my goals and
live my life in a way of more frequently asking myself what would I do if I

I would feel like a
hypocrite if I commented on this story involving Gigi Hadid (because I intend
to chemically straighten/relax my hair Again within the next 6-10 months). What
I will say is that I already know what to expect wearing my hair naturally curly
because I have done so from June 2003 until April 2012. However, I do wish that
there would have been features of curly haired models with both short and long
hair as well as different skin complexions when I was a teenager. There seems
to be a misconception that some women with curly hair have it easier due to
their skin complexion and/or hair length and I can tell you from experience
(and from what I have seen during my time in the military) that it is
definitely not the case and I have seen curly haired women from various races
(and with various lengths and types such as type 3 and looser types of curly
hair as well as type 4) struggle to embrace their curly hair. I
understand that there are also women with naturally straight hair and various
races that struggle with accepting their naturally straight hair. I was
just explaining how I wish that there was an increased inclusion of curly
haired models of various nationalities and hair lengths because (from
some of the e-mails I have received) there seems to be a misconception that
people with long curly hair And certain types of curly hair have it easier when
that is definitely not the case. This is also related to why I prefer to
be neutral in the Gigi Hadid afro wig controversy.

Once again, I’m grateful for my current job and
would prefer to be employed there for At least 6 more months At A minimum.

voluntarily left a financially comfortable job (that pays At least three
thousand dollars A month After taxes) in the navy back in the summer of 2009 I
do believe that it is an extremely risky idea to leave a job for another unless
you are completely moving out of an Area and/or you are emotionally ready for
dealing with potentially being unemployed for At least 3-6 months before
finding Another job (whether higher paying or temporarily lower paying),
especially because you cannot get unemployment benefits if you voluntarily quit
your job. However, it is good that this woman was Able to find her happy
ending.
