She has a strong working relationship with Bradley Fine (Jude Law) and a close friendship with fellow CIA colleague Nancy B Artingstall (Miranda Hart). Susan Cooper ends up volunteering herself to be directly in the field due to her feeling to go after Raya Boyanov (Rose Byrne) after what she sees involving her coworker Bradley Fine. Elaine Crocker (Allison Janney) decides to give Susan Cooper a chance to be in the field with greater CIA responsibilities despite protests from fellow CIA agent Rick Ford (Jason Statham). Cooper’s new assignments have her directly dealing with both Raya Boyanov and charismatic but dangerous Sergio De Luca (Bobby Canavale). Meanwhile Susan Cooper is assigned various aliases to protect her identity and safeguard her cover and along the way meets an admirer who calls himself Aldo (Peter Serafinowicz). If You Like Spy or CIA Themed Television, October 7, 2015 Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 24 Season 1 (Amazon Instant Video) Season 1 of 24 stars Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. Jack Bauer works in the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) based out of Los Angeles California. He puts his all into his job and ends up juggling the demands of protecting Senator David Palmer and his family from being assassinated (Senator David Palmer is played by Dennis Haysbert also known as the Allstate Insurance guy) and looking after his daughter Kim. Kim ran away when Jack Bauer and his wife Teri were about to talk to Kimberly about a personal family issue. Things get even more complicated when Jack Bauer learns that there is a mole within his own agency and his daughter Kim and her friend Janet have been kidnapped. Of course, there is so much more to 24 than what I just listed an Season 1 of the 24 series definitely keeps a person in suspense. Sci-Fi Redbox Rental, October 7, 2015 This review is from: Interstellar (DVD) I admit that I actually planned on renting Interstellar via the Redbox machine at my job, however it was out of stock. Fortunately, I was able to rent a copy through another redbox machine within a few miles of my apartment. Anyhow, the following movie trailers are associated with the dvd version of Interstellar; Terminator Genisys, The Gambler, and Selma. The actual movie Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey as a farmer/astronaut named Cooper who is sent to a secret Nasa colony as part of a plan to recolonize outside of earth as the earth’s food supply is threatened. Cooper is close to his children Murph and Tom (various ages played by Mackenzie Foy, Timothee Chalamet, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck). Cooper teams up with a man named Professor Brand (Micheal Caine), Professor Brand’s daughter (Anne Hathaway), and Romilly (David Gyasi)to go on the Nasa Secret mission. After he leaves, Cooper’s children are initially looked after by his father-in-law Donald (John Lithgow). There are multiple strange things that happen to Cooper after he leaves such as the fact that he eventually sees that his daughter (in one of the received space communications0 is now the same age that he was when he left. Matt Damon and David Oyelowo make appearances in Interstellar as well. This review is from: Songs from The Martian (MP3 Music) I purchased the Martian Soundtrack (for the movie starring Matt Damon)because it lists to be what looks like dazzling songs on the Martian movie soundtrack. I admit that my current favorites from Songs From The Martian are Hot Stuff by Donna Summer, Turn The Beat Around by Vickie Sue Robinson (first heard through Gloria Estefan and VH1 as a teenager in the 1990s), and Waterloo by Abba (I first heard through the Mamma Mia movie back in 2009 when living in Orlando Florida). Nonetheless, fortunately, I’m glad that I followed my heart and intuition because of the brilliant and eclectic mix that also completed out the cd with music also by David Bowie, Harry Gregson Williams, The O’Jays, The Hues Corporation, Gloria Gaynor, and Thelma Houston. Bruce Nolan’s Spiritual Intervention, October 7, 2015 This review is from: Bruce Almighty (Widescreen Edition) (DVD) Bruce Almighty is definitely one of those uplifting movies that gave me a feeling and determination to keep watching again (at least once every 1-2 months). One of the reasons; Bruce Almighty stars Jim Carey as Bruce Nolan. He enjoys his job as a television promoter but wants to aim higher in his career. He ends up going through an initiation process of reinventing himself after an experience where he reacted with extreme shock (on national television)after he found out that his rival Evan Baxter (Steven Carrell)got the job he wanted and is sitting next to a coworker named Susan Ortega (Catherine Bell) who he slightly admires. At the time Bruce Nolan was standing next to some type of cruise ship boat called Maid of the Mist and out loud sarcastically confused one of the woman he was interviewing for someone who was on the Titanic and Katherine Hepburn’s mom (with a light-hearted and respectful comedic nod to Kate Winslet). Fortunately he has a caring and self-confident girlfriend named Grace Connelly (Jennifer Aniston) who works at Small Wonders Daycare. Bruce Nolan’s life becomes radically changed after he spiritual surrenders to God and actually meets God (played by Morgan Freeman). God explains to him how things work which is really important as he makes sense of being able to do a Clint Eastwood impersonation, parting tomato soup in a diner, and walking on water. There are numerous pop culture references in Bruce Almighty as well such as when the song Power by Snap plays in the movie as he is using his newfound powers, Never Gonna Give Ya Up by Barry White during a scene involving him and his girlfriend (including Right About Now by Fatboy Slim). There is even an appearance by Tony Bennett in Bruce Almighty where Bruce Nolan takes his girlfriend Grace Connelly to an upscale restaurant called the Blue Palm. There is even a moment of a Mark Twain themed chili cookoff. Please know that I also understand that there were many other strong contributions from other actors/actresses in the Bruce Almighty as well as other pivotal pop culture references. During the past few years I have also heard this song every now and then via the radio (with most recently hearing it via iheart radio). I reluctantly confess to not yet fully understanding the deep meaning of Cult of Personality by Living Colour and many times enjoying more for the music, the unique lyrics, and the speech at the end. This song seems to be a powerful song about tenacity and persistence even in the face of roadblocks and adversity. I Admit A Guilty Pleasure Rock Song, October 7, 2015 This review is from: So Hott [Explicit] (MP3 Music) I know that I may get some thumb downs for this but I review So Hott by Kid Rock as a woman who also likes music by Beyonce (I mention this because there was supposedly a listed feud between Kid Rock and Beyonce via a 2014 or 2015 interview he did but I really think that he secretly admires Beyonce as a musician yet was trying to convince himself otherwise). Anyhow,So Hott by Kid Rock seems to be a hard core rock song about basically wanting to only know someone on an extremely casual level (due to a connection based more on a physical attraction and their perceived good looks and/or beauty). The guitar riffs to So Hott bring the song alive as well as his unapologetic and unabashed singing with the daring lyrics. The online music video to So Hott by Kid rock even fits close to the meaning of the song. The only caveat is that the listed magazine price for the edition of the magazine is not the cheapest but affordable for the details and photos included in this Rolling Stone Special Collectors Edition of Madonna; The Ultimate Guide to Her Music & Legend. This is because the Rolling Stone Madonna issue packs so much enthralling information such as; Photos of Madonna and some members of her entourage shot by Steven Miesel in New York February 1991 (starts on page 26) Starts on page 42-An interview taken during her “Music” era with a photo featuring her and Guy Ritchie. Madonna discusses her feelings around napster. She also discusses some of the musicians, music groups, and movies on her mind. For instance, she mentions that the most recent three cds that she listened to at the time of that 2000 interview were by the soundtrack to the Big Night, a Leftfield cd, a DJ by the name of Jason Bentley , and a singer called Lisa Shaw. She also mentioned about some English bands such as Massive Attack, Tricky, and Goldy.
