Affirmations of the Day

I get things done in unconventional ways

I’m emerging victorious like a phoenix rising from the ashes in all areas of my life regardless of what critics may say and/or what they would do about me.

I’m learning from past experiences and transforming them to beneficial present and future learning/wisdom opportunities

I unlock increasing insights filled with wisdom just from being alive and observing information received, as well as observations from both my external environment as well as my intuition.

My inner genius and the power of my creative imagination is increasing by the day.  Additionally, my intellectual and emotional intelligence is increasing by the day.

My savings are increasing each day and I’m becoming closer to being debt-free. I wisely heed my own intuition and wisdom to understand that I’m on the right track towards only purchasing an item if I have the cash to pay for it upfront. My husband and I are both on the right track in regards to being loan-free and credit-card free for the rest of our current lifetimes.  We both understand that our life paths involve only purchasing a car, house, and/or college education if we have the money for it upfront (in spite of credit and loan advertisements from banks and credit unions). I’m becoming more aligned with manifesting the reality of being debt-free, credit card-free and loan-free by the year 2030 or sooner. Even critics that may laugh at my husband and I for such ideas are going to see the wisdom and proof of our newfound cash is king mantra by the year 2030.

I think that it is actually a positive thing for the mainstream media attention to be paid to the Yelp employee (too many former employees are sometimes actually hard working people who were the subject of unfair firings). However, it is also unfair to call her a disgruntled former employee without checking all of the facts as to both the employer's and the former employee's side of the story because she may have been fine with working at the company until she was let go.  I say this from a standpoint that more compassion is necessary before labeling a former employee disgruntled because heaven forbid if that manager who fired her may need that same compassion one day (even if he himself makes close to six figures and/or is a millionaire).

Ten Actors Who Had It Tough, I'm giving myself a much different timeline than what Jon Hamm did due for personal reasons, but I'm glad that Jon Hamm of the Mad Men tv series generously and bravely shared the three year timeline that he gave himself. However, I'm shedding no tears over my previous job because of how my former manager (who is a minority himself) discriminated against me.  The pay was not worth the illegal discrimination and illegal bullying that I was subjected to.  Thank goodness, I was treated much better in the U.S. Navy, which helped me see that there are some employers and managers out there that treat their employees as human even if their employee lives, looks, and/or acts differently from them. Regardless, of what that bullying manager and/or what some of my professional rivals/critics from that previous job think and where I end up working, I intend to go on to lose weight and make at least twice as much money and/or have at least twice as much money in my savings accounts as I did in 2015 by the year 2020 or earlier, which is going to be attainable even for me because of what I was paid in 2015, which I intend to disclose tomorrow. Speaking of which, I intend to get my paycheck for the last 8 hours I worked in December, which my previous employer has not yet sent me and I plan to contact one of the HR reps by tomorrow and expect an answer by next Wednesday because I have patiently waited for that check long enough.

I believe that it is important to have at least 3-5 go to outfits, but kudos to Matilda Kahl for truthfully and bravely sharing that she wears just one outfit to work everyday for 3 years. I hope that Kahl goes on to achieve more popularity and the essence happiness in her life. However, she can also get away with it because she is very attractive, especially by American mainstream standards and has a slender/healthy image figure.  I don't blame any of my critics for reading this who may consider this comment jerky, but I guarantee you another woman with who has a fuller figure and falls outside the mainstream ideal of attractive/beauty would be more harshly judged by others (As a woman myself who is in the process of losing weight and is blessed to have an amazing husband who praises both my personality and physical appearance even though my whole appearance and demeanor falls outside the mainstream norms).

What is interesting about this article is that my husband was the one who introduced me to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie, which I reviewed on Amazon.com by August 2011, from what I understand, based on the book, and here I happen to come across this list today.  I met my husband in August 2002 and fell in love with my amazing husband by December 2002/January 2003 well before other people in my life remarked how smart and/or wonderful he is. Fortunately, my husband proposed to me August 2003 and we have been happily married since January 22, 2004. I also am grateful that he is has truly loved me through my weight changes and income changes as I intend to do the same for him. I agree with the people that noted this (his intellect and at least two psychics that I talked to who remarked about my husband being handsome)and I'm always going to consider myself blessed for the rest of my current lifetime for meeting my husband. However, seeing one my husband's interests in this list, has helped me understand why some women have been so jealous of a woman such as myself being married to a gem of a husband who I admit is more attractive than me and smarter (although my husband himself has let me know that I'm more capable and smarter than I realize, in addition to my own awareness of my wisdom and emotional intelligence increasing by the day).  I also believe him when he says that he sees the beauty in me and intends to stay married to me for the rest of our current lifetimes,regardless of how others think of our marriage,(even with his intuitive and logic awareness that  my physical appearance falls outside the mainstream ideas of beauty).

I could easily see why the Obamas would want to stay here in the Washington D.C. Area. I would truthfully be suprised if they (Michelle and Barack Obama) even moved from and/or relocated outside of the Washington D.C. Area. From listed online sources, they are the first family to stay living in the Washington D.C. area since Woodrow Wilson.  Another reason why; My husband is supportive of my decision to purchase a completely paid for trailer and/or house in the Norfolk, Virginia area, which would allow us to be close enough to visit the Washington D.C. area at least once very 3-4 months(after I move to the Norfolk, Virginia area by 2020),due to both of us enjoying the D.C. area but understanding that it would be easier for us to purchase a house in cash in the Norfolk, Virginia area. I still stand by my psychic and intuitive prediction that houses are going to be affordable for minimum wage earners in the Norfolk, Virginia area until at least the years 2030-2035 and then after and/or by the year 2040 real estate prices are going to catch up to and/or even possibly surpass those of the Washington D.C. Area. One Reason; Less than 2 years ago, I watched an online episode on Amazon.com that showed up Virginia Beach Virginia is a summer visiting travel spot/playground spot for wealthy people each year (I even saw one of the festivals/contests that they feature in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area that attracts many rich people to the area.  Another reason for my prediction; It is common knowledge that In Norfolk, Virginia the realtors and the apartment landlords take into account both the military population as well as private sector minimum wage workers when setting rent and mortgage prices, especially in zipcode 23505 of Norfolk, Virginia where fortunately my husband and I lived from February 2008 until April 2009 (before I idealistically moved to Orlando, Florida to pursue a dream of working at Walt Disney World and a dream vacation planner job I came close to getting in December 2009 until the interviewer made it clear that I would have been hired if I had a car). Anyhow, regardless of what others may think, I intuitively know that it is in my life's destiny to move to the Norfolk, Virginia area long-term and live there for the rest of my current lifetime whether I do so starting over again as a private sector minimum wage worker, a private sector self-employed woman, and/or a government worker and/or military woman.  A dream that I had less than 2 years ago, where I was in my 60/70's, much wealthier and enjoying financial freedom and being debt-free, gave me a glimpse into my future traveling to Florida for business but traveling back on train to a home that I resided in around the Norfolk, Virginia area (which I intuitively/logically believe is around the 23505 zipcode area).  Anyhow, regardless of what my critics think of me sharing this dream I feel it in my  bones/soul that I'm meant to relocate back to the Norfolk, Virginia area but I prefer to avoid publicly disclosing the timeline on my blogs for right now (as per following my intuition and taking into account what is for the highest and greatest good of my amazing husband and I).

Because I admire Tom Cruise's acting abilities and know about their previous friendship (him and Jamie's) I prefer not to comment too much taking sides. Jamie and Katie do seem happy, and there is nothing wrong with interracial romantic relationships regardless of if it is a white man with a woman from another race, a white woman with a person from another race, and/or any other race combinations. However, I would say that hopefully Jamie Fox thought it through about how his friend Tom Cruise will feel about their marriage because from what the mainstream media reported a few years back they were close friends before with Jamie Fox being the godfather of Suri.  Even if Tom Cruise takes back Jamie Fox as a friend there is still an understandable chance that Tom Cruise may be hesitant to open up to Jamie Fox about any potential challenges of his love life in the future (even if Tom Cruise invites Jamie Fox to his future wedding).

As a happily married American-born woman who was born a woman, proud to be a woman and all for LGBT rights I'm actually very suprised that Caitlyn Jenner wants to vote for Cruz.  I could have sworn seeing an article either connected to advocate.com or metroweekly.com depicting Ted Cruz as a person who is harshly against LGBT rights. Please understand that I do acknowledge that racism has happened to white people towards black people, black people towards white people, black and hispanics towards each other, and other minority races towards each other (tragically where I live there is tension between some Black and White people,some Black Americans and immigrants from Africa, tension between some people of Latin American ancestry and Black people, and segregation among socio-economic groups). However, one sentiment I could easily understand and get behind is when a person (whether Black American or Another race) feels that it is not healthy for a Latina or Latino to deny having Black American/African American Ancestry.  However, I may be in the minority, but I think that Nina Simone's family is targeting Zoe Saldana without being aware that they may be unintentionally shaming her for not having enough black heritage. I admit that the only reason why I have publicly stopped discussing my potential black heritage is not because I'm ashamed but because I do not know for sure until I obtain the money to get a DNA test.  My purported biological father (named Mario)admitted to me around 2012/2013 timeframe that he is not for sure if he is even my father because he feels that my late biological mother had sex with other men around the time she became pregnant with me and after she had me.  To back up his case, he persuasively explained to me that they lived together for some time until I was around 4 or 5 years old and he even worked and financially provided for her. However, he told me that even as I was a toddler, he would come home to catch my biological mother letting dangerous looking adult men attempt to rape me and he had to push them away (why he did not break up with her there and then is a mystery I left alone because I was eager to get information). Tragically, the reason why I believe Mario is because my late biological prostitute mother did succeed in allowing one of her boyfriends and/or clients rape me around the time I was 5 or 6 years old and she even pushed me back towards him (her client and/or boyfriend) when I sensed something was not right before her client and/or boyfriend succeeded in raping me (I had even seen her walk out the door to a home this monster was in before I blacked out less than 10 minutes later, she even kicked me later on that day to wake me up and didn't care about me getting hurt from that nightmarish ordeal). Anyhow, Mario sensed my doubt about his paternity to me and even offered to submit to a DNA test. However, at first I declined because I thought that Mario would keep in touch with me being his possible biological daughter. Anyhow, I eventually changed my mind to see if Mario would agree to a paternity test because a former coworker at my former place of employment made it clear to me that even if I'm part black from a paternal grandmother then that still doesn't consider me black enough (I wish that I could have stood up to him right then and there but he did have a point without me knowing for sure). I wanted to be able to stand up for myself and say that I am at least part black regardless of what others think, but that jerk that made a comment to me had a valid point until I have proof that I am at least part black.  Anyhow, I tried contacting Mario again to ask him for a paternity test only to see if he was my father to help me confirm and understand if I am at least part black. Sadly, Mario eventually ignored my calls and has made no efforts to contact me after I tried to call him multiple times even though he knows my full name and knows that I can easily be contacted via facebook and/or even a google search.  As a result, I at least know for sure (from my late biological mother's side) that I am part Menominee Indian and Puerto Rican, but until I purchase a DNA test some time after I get a job I'm not going to know for sure if I have part African American Ancestry (Mario did at least share when I last spoke to him that his late mother was a Black American woman from Birmingham Alabama named WillieMae Almond). However, without Mario cooperating for a dna test to help me confirm my racial heritage then I don't know for sure if I'm part black.  I only say this because people that don't even know me think that I say nothing about my potential black heritage because I'm ashamed. Nothing could be further from the truth, I would actually wear my black heritage with pride, even it is confirmed that I'm only part black. Hopefully, I'm gainfully employed by May/June of this year and can purchase a DNA test for myself by December 2016 at the latest to confirm if I am in fact at least part Black American.  Anyhow, what this has to do with the Nina Simone Story is that I noticed on the Bossip story that some men and women love to criticize other people of Latin American heritage for supposedly hiding their black heritage (without checking personally to see if some of the men and women of Afro Latin American physical appearance even know their fathers and/or full racial dna for certain) and when a person that is confirmed to be part black (such as Zoe Saldana) wears her black heritage with pride then they are castigated for not being black enough.  Then some of these well-meaning and good-intentioned men and women are puzzled as to why a person is discreet about their part black heritage.  Zoe Saldana is well loved in Science fiction films (such as the Star Trek films, Guardians of the Galaxy, the Avatar films)where race is not as much of a pertinent factor and if I were her for future movie roles (whether Science Fiction or another genre) I would take jobs where I would be more appreciated and where race is not as dominant. It is tragic that some of the same men and women who would blast Zoe Saldana for hiding her black heritage would now come out and publicly shame her for wanting to be in a movie role that would help her in the long-term be black and proud. Don't get me started on some of the online commenters who also want to publicly shame and/or condenm fellow star David Oyelowo for having a white spouse. Sadly this is mainstream media proof that is not just some hispanics that are racist towards blacks but also a case of some blacks being racist towards even other hispanics who are part black (just as a case of some blacks being racist towards other whites and not just some whites being racist towards other blacks) even when that same hispanic person displays public pride about their part black heritage.

I predict that the Obamas (Michelle and Barack Obama) are more likely going to settle long-term in either the Washington D.C. area, New York, Hawaii, or Los Angeles, California. I do not ever see them ever going back to Chicago, Illinois (especially because regardless of what is depicted in the mainstream media the Chicago Illinois area is a tough place for less prestigious college educated people to even get minimum wage jobs and public transportation is extremely scarce outside of downtown Chicago which would make it harder for a person to find a job in the Chicago Illinois area especially with the intense competition). The Washington D.C. area and the surrounding states (Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia etc.), even though the job markets are competitive, are still pretty great for both minimum wage jobs and more prestigious jobs.  I believe that Barack Obama  is wisely avoiding admitting the he and Michelle Obama do not ever plan on living in the Chicago Illinois area long-term because he does not want to alienate the Illinois voters who helped him secure his wins for the presidency in 2008 and 2012 (I myself voted for President Obama in 2012).
