5.0 out of 5 stars Must Be Open-mindedSeptember 10, 2015
This review is from: Scream (MP3 Music)
I admit that Scream by Starkillers is one of my guilty pleasures because of the hypnotic electronic beat and risqué lyrics. Basically, this song seems to be about some self-confident woman pretty much aggressively pursuing the object of her desire without holding back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amorous Delight?September 10, 2015
Sugar (feat. Francesco Yates) by Robin Schulz is an electronic song with some hints of guitar and seems to be a song of being with someone who evokes a romantic high with a sense of unpredictability. Sugar (feat. Francesco Yates) is also great for those who are familiar with and/or who have enjoyed the quieter radio version of Suga Suga by Baby Bash or the Reggae Remix version of Suga Suga by Baby Bash (also credited to Major Riley and The Smokin Nephew)that is on the Universal Smash Hits 2 cd (track 7).

5.0 out of 5 stars Complexity of Ardent Feelings?September 10, 2015
The Business of Emotion by Big Data (feat. White Sea) appears to be a hybrid electronic and indie rock song that appears to have various meanings around the complexity of being around someone who makes your heart jump (metaphorically speaking).

5.0 out of 5 stars Exhilaration Force?September 10, 2015
This review is from: Pressure (MP3 Music)
Pressure by Nadia Ali, Starkillers& Alex Kenji (Alesso Edit) is a high energy dance song. I wish that i completely knew the lyric meaning, although I’m guessing that it has to do with a combination of being in love as well as how so much is simultaneously happening in her life (I admit that I was also guessing from watching the music video online). This is a good song to enjoy if you have enjoyed any of Nadia Ali’s previous songs such as Rapture. Feels So Good (collab with Armin Van Buuren), Fantasy, Is It Love, At The End etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Music Narrator’s Type?September 10, 2015
This review is from: My Type (MP3 Music)
My Type by Saint Motel is a very melodious indie rock song where the singer seems to confess to the target of his romantic crush that the person is their type. The music video seems to be some type of party or gathering of model looking people reminiscent of what I’m innocently guessing is of the 70’s or 80s.

Born To Be Wild
Born To Be Wild

5.0 out of 5 stars Meant To Be A Free Spirit?September 10, 2015
This review is from: Born To Be Wild (MP3 Music)
Born to Be Wild by Steppenwolf is an amusing classic rock song that resonates within my soul. I admit that I still need to carefully think more as to the song’s meaning. However, I’m guessing from the lyrics like a true nature’s child you were born to be wild that the song is about unapologetically being your uninhibited and natural self regardless of what others think (a lesson that I reluctantly admit to still being in the process of working on). However, overall, Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf is also a strong feel good type of classic rock song.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of A Kind Afterlife BookSeptember 10, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Please let me preface this review by making it transparently clear that I’m not telling anybody else how they ought to live and I definitely do not dub myself a moral expert and/or a moral policewoman on where people go after they die and/or how they are meant to live. Additionally, I’m blessed with great physical health and I humbly desire to live to be at least 85 years old (I say this because I intuitively understand that my human ego’s long life preference may or may not be aligned with the will of God/heaven/higher worlds of light, my higher self etc.). I just consider myself a spiritual truthseeker who is hungry for gathering spiritual knowledge to help me further understand my own life and share what captivates my soul and helps me on my quest to regaining and increasing my self-confidence (while sharing my findings of the books that fascinate me). This is important to me because I completely understand what it means to be true to yourself but I’m carefully integrating myself through this lesson because the real unadulterated me is much more sensual and into the study of certain mystical/occult areas that are controversial for contemporary societal mores(even for the new age community). One interesting experience; while immersing myself in understanding this book I had a currently unexplainable dream where I was inside a gigantic library with multiple levels of books that was also a hybrid of some classroom unlike anything I have yet been exposed to and multiple insertions/locations of stairways leading up to the multiple levels of books that were placed throughout this huge library/classroom (a massive blue brain- somewhere between cerulean or cobalt blue-was floating around me in the center of the classroom/library area for whatever reason). With that said, this book Vistas of Infinity; How To Enjoy Life When You Are Dead by Jurgen Ziewe is an afterlife book that is unlike any type of book that I have had before (and I’m fortunate to have been exposed to multiple books on the afterlife). Jurgen Ziewe dedicates this book with love to his wife Julia and his daughters Naomi and Martina and the following details are some of the enthralling tidbits of Vistas of Infinity;
Page 9; the picture looks similar to an image of a world that I’m fortunate to have visited in one of my dreams around the time I was 7 years old. Pages 10-11; Many of the experiences that the author recorded happened during his time of working sixty hours a week in a thriving career as a freelance commercial illustrator. page 22, as per the author, dreams are a natural peek into the type of world that awaits us after leaving earth at the end of our lives. Pages 29-30; An experience is captured where he enters a world populated by various artists and of diverse creations and craft fairs that have moving thought patterns. Pages 32-33; He encounters a service worker named Kay in the park who acknowledged what brought him to where he was now. Page 35; Kay shared how he had picked up that he had to be of service while being concern-free as to his own gain. Pages 43-44; He saw some things in the lower dimensional levels that could easily fit into a horror film such as what a woman in the afterlife had to experience while learning to let go of certain limitations and his scary vision of what he saw another man going through who had to learn to let go of heavy resentment and self-loathing (in the author’s words self-hatred). Pages 48-50; Ziewe encounters a spirit who (to put it politely) temporarily appeared as a zombie, however his compassion for the soul and what he did to help is heartfelt.
Page 51; Jurgen Ziewe shares his testimony of what happened when he met his mother in one of the non-physical realms as a way to help and comfort others who miss family members and/or friends who have already crossed over (I’m grateful that he shared this as it previously took me a long time to forgive myself for not showing more appreciation to my late adoptive mother for legally taking me on as her own biological daughter when she was still alive, she had basically died before I had truly appreciated her for adopting me- even after her telling me around age 17 or 18 how hard it was for her to make friends in a small town (population of around 2,000 people)of central Illinois who gave her a hard time (for being a Caucasian woman who was raising multiple children of other racial groups). Anyhow, the story of Jurgen Ziewe reuniting with his mother is very touching as he describes seeing her as he remembered from his childhood years. Pages 60-61; He finds out that his father has actually already reincarnated as a child in Russia. In the family reunions section, he also shares a fun fact that physical appearance in higher non-physical worlds can actually be altered by the intent of imagination and the complex finding that our mindset can have a powerful bearing on our environment setting when we die. Page 76; Sometimes people have to die before they can truly progress. Page 83 from the author’s late brother in law; Death is not some sort of punishment but a learning opportunity. When your life won’t allow you to expand your wisdom, then death very often provides new opportunities and may be the only way.
Nature’s Justice Section; Pages 93-95-The author shares frightening information of a suicide bomber who was in the middle of several charred and bloodied bodies of the victims he killed along with himself and the gruesome scene of him trying to free himself from the carnage but continually sliding back into the mess that he was trying to escape. Basically, the ghastly details he discusses in this afterlife hellish realm is pretty much as he put in his words what Hollywood could potentially use as inspiration for a modern day Dante’s inferno. A heavenly helper that the author found trying to help free some of the victims asked the writer to share with the earth what he found. The author humbly acknowledged that not as many people on earth may believe him as the helper hopes because he is not a traditional religious person.
Playing Fields of the Afterlife (the more love filled afterlife heavenly worlds)- Page 103; Many things that are shown in the latest science fiction and fantasy films can and may already be a reality on the non-physical realms. Page 119; The author references Aldous Huxley’s book The Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell (1954). Page 122; Non-physical realms containing art colleges are featured. Mysteries of the Afterlife; page 133; A woman with curly blonde hair greets him in a village like setting and acknowledges that it is not everyday that they encounter a conscious traveler. Page 137; The powers of intent, expectation, and consensus are discussed. Page 139; A scene where some of the artists transform into their own creations/drawings is discussed. Pages 140-141; The power of shapeshifting is discussed. He meets a being who initially starts out as a benevolent dragon flying towards him and then she transforms into a beautiful red-haired woman. The woman’s outfit had contemporary colors on her and had just matched the dragon disguise she had a few moments before. He admitted that she was mysterious and enigmatic to him because he couldn’t quite put his finger on how he knew her (I’m politely guessing maybe either a past live, an in between life, and/or future life but for certain reasons to avoid interfering and/or unintentionally creating upheaval in his life she might not have been allowed to tell him at the time).page 155; The directors of cartoon city. Page 157; the power of imagination, drawing, and the cartoon director’s friendly wisdom that the cartoon world is all in the imagination (and partially how the characters were able to take on an intelligence and life of their own). Last, but not least, the cartoon director shared with the author that if you are passionate about your hobby you’ll have no problem creating whatever you want to do (I’m very grateful that I came across that healing gem on page 157 at a certain time for reasons I prefer to avoid elaborating on in this review out of consideration for this author). At the end of this book, the author also generously provides other written resources from other authors/websites for those who are curious to know more. Anyhow, there is so much more in this book Vistas of infinity; How To Enjoy Life When You Are Dead by Jurgen Ziewe for open-minded souls.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anime Film With Powerful Spiritual MessagesSeptember 10, 2015
This review is from: Princess Mononoke (DVD)
Princess Mononoke is an enjoyable anime film that involves how a young boy’s life is changed once a negative spirit inhabits a large boor and creates chaos in his home village. The young boy named Ashitaka is left with a situation that endangers his life and he ends up crossing paths with a perplexing young woman named San who enchants him with her beauty and who was raised by wolves. Both San and Ashitake end up seeing a lot, such as a forest spirit who has the gift of bringing great healing and saving a living being from dying if the spirit sees that they are meant to live. I’m fortunate to have first watched Princess Mononoke with my husband when we were living in the Jacksonville Florida area (through the U.S. navy).

Please know that I write this review for The Last Detail movie with gratitude for my current job. However, I happen to be drawn towards watching navy themed movies and television shows from time to time because my time in the navy was good to me and as a result I have a strong interest in certain navy themed films and tv shows. Anyhow, The Last Detail movie stars Jack Nicholson as Billy Buddusky, Otis Young as Richard Mulhall, and Randy Quaid as Larry Meadows. Both Buddusky and Mulhall are currently stationed in Norfolk Virginia for the movie’s setting and are awaiting orders to their next job assignment. They get tasked with escorting Meadows to the Portsmouth Virginia Brig for an offense that they feel does not warrant the punishment. However, both Buddusky and Mulhall are navy lifers and go along with what they are told to do because they have little say in what type of punishment fits Meadow’s action. Buddusky does have a foul sailor’s mouth and yet his heart of gold shines through when he convinces Mulhall why they must let Meadows have a little fun as they escort him. Mulhall is naturally hesitant due to the risks not just with Meadows running away but what can happen to his own navy career (the character of Mulhall is shown admitting during the film that he takes great pride in his navy career and is unsure what he would do or how he would fare if he was not making the navy a career). Mulhall eventually agrees with Buddusky’s plan on the condition that Buddusky stays aware that they are not escorting a person on their way to receiving a full navy retirement or honorable discharge. The aspiring writer/scriptwriter in me also enjoys how the character of Billy Buddusky simultaneously encouraging both Mulhall and Meadows to step out of their comfort zones a little bit in a fun/exciting way. The Last Detail film is credited to be based on a novel bearing the same name by Darryl Ponicsan and the screenplay by Robert Towne.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fun Anime Take on Redemption?September 10, 2015
The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 1 is a 13 episode anime that my husband introduced me to and is definitely not what it at first appears to be with the title (with obviously favorable results). The dvd centers around the characters of Sadao Mao, Shiro Ashiya, Chiho, and Emilia Justinia who came from the world of Ente Isla and end up in modern day Japan for various reasons. They end up having to help each other as one of the characters works at MgRonalds while dealing with a rival busness across the street (Sentucky Fried chicken). Additionally, the characters of Sadao Mao and Shiro Ashiya improve for the better which confuses Emilia Justinia even more due to one of the reasons that brought her to Japan in the first place. There is obviously more to the series than what I’m writing, yet something compels me to avoid revealing more for those who have yet to see this distinctive anime series.

This review is from: Euro Club Hits Vol. 9 (MP3 Music)
Euro Club Hits Vol. 9 is a various artists collection filled with multiple dance hits of a buoyant quality that you would hear at a club (hence the name). Every Word (feat. Daniela) and Get Shakey by the Ian Carey Project are some of the songs that immediately resonated with my soul. However, there are obviously other catchy songs that are going to appeal to a wide audience of dance music listeners who are either curious to listen to and/or who have heard European club music before.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderment of LifeSeptember 10, 2015
Do You Believe in Magic by the The Lovin Spoonful is a classic rock song that appears to epitomize the wonder of the various facets of life. For instance, the group uses the symbolism of a young girl’s soul which I’m guessing is an innocent take on seeing the magic and mystery of life with the same freshness and jade-free outlook as a young person would (such as the common knowledge that many children and young people have not forgotten how to use the power of their imaginations effortlessly).

This review is from: Ballroom Blitz (MP3 Music)
Ballroom Blitz by The Sweet is a diverting classic rock song that appears to obviously capture the moment of a group of people in a setting just having a carefree good time. The guitar beats to this song are impressively timed with when the lyrics are sung during The Ballroom Blitz.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intense LoveSeptember 10, 2015
Ain’t Nobody Loves Me Better by Felix Jaehn (feat. Jasmine Thompson) is a high tempo dance summery song that I first heard online through a radio station from Norfolk Virginia. Basically, the tune appears to be about someone who makes it feel safe to be in romantic love(just guessing). This song sounds like a respectable remake of Rufus and Chaka Khan’s Ain’t Nobody and is good for those who like eclectic love songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Husband’s Film CollectionSeptember 2, 2015
The Illusionist film is a movie that my husband first introduced me to around 2006/2007 when we were living in Florida and it was great to watch the Illusionist together again this week. The Illusionist features a movie trailer to Gray Matters and the movie itself is a deep and complicated history between the characters of Duchess Sophie Von Teschen (Jessica Biel) and Eisenheim The Illusionist (Edward Norton). Duchess Sophie Von Teschen is set to marry the emotionally cold but intellectually gifted Crown Prince Leopold (Rufus Sewell). I do completely accept that Sewell was just putting his best in the role, it was just that I was extremely shocked by how his Prince Leopold character is required to treat Eisenheim’s character and that of his wife Sophie so abrasively just because he can. Chief Inspector Walter Uhl (Paul Giamatti) is Crown Prince Leopold’s right hand man who is required to start spying on Eisenheim after a witness tattles on Eisenheim and Duchess Sophie immediately after they are spotted simply just talking in a carriage together.

I recently decided that I was going to make the best of my remaining time of living in the Washington D.C. area by keeping the job I already currently have and work a second job (once again I intend to stay in the area for the rest of this year, but I now prefer to publicly keep quiet on when I know that I must relocate). However, I recently found out that one of the jobs I interviewed for in the D.C. area(as a second job opportunity) went to another candidate because they had greater flexibility in the days and hours that they would be available for. I’m at least grateful to have found out the reason. However, I’m also grateful that this book Sacred Success; A Course in Financial Miracles by Barbara Stanny is available to help me take a look at my beliefs around ways of creating greater income. The following are some of the pearls of information contained in this book (I’m guessing that the positive image on the book has to do with believing and knowing that the world is your oyster)
Information on some of the clients that the author has worked with such as a non-profit director and an executive coach (pgs, 44 and 45).
An interview the author recalled reading about in the Wall Street Journal (pg. 68).
Her experience working with an advertising executive from a retreat (pg. 122)
Pgs. 151-152-She shares a triangle diagram as it relates to money, affluence, and discussion of various levels involving money (i.e. the first level of establishing a six month emergency fund, the second level of conservative stocks and bonds etc.)
Welcoming the Warrior and the author’s descriptions on what a warrior means(pg. 196).
I admit that just the Warrior archetype alone may take me some time to ponder on because I’m still trying to at least retrieve and bring on the self-confident aspect of my eighth grade self who made class valedictorian and was voted most likely to succeed (it was out of a class of at least 389 other students and I actually believed in my own intellectual brilliance and the unlimited possibilities for my bright future).

Voyage to Curiosity’s Father (Exploring The Afterlife Series) by Bruce Moen touches on so many deep and complicated aspects of the spiritual afterlife. The following is only a sampler of what is available in this gripping book;
Pg, 26+27;The “planning center” orchestrates events for people who express their intents. However, it is important that a person also request that the intent is for the greatest benefit of all or else they may get something they want with unexpected of unwanted effects.
I admit that I forgot the page where the author mentioned that him and his exploration assistant Denise ran into someone during their astral travels that physically resembled a cross between Jody Foster and Helen Hunt. However, on page 95 the author describes the exploration technique that him and Denise used is akin to the news reporting techniques of Peter Jennings and Diane Sawyer.

Chapter 15 Max’s Hell Revisited; This chapter is extremely frightening, but I understand that the author was only trying to come from what he felt was truth and what he and Denise saw. The chapter was apparently named after a psychotherapist named Max who apparently took a tragic satisfaction in the emotional suffering of his patients. Spirits in this realm work their way out of these worlds either through the strong bond of love and expressing their love as a couple. Pages 120 and 121 mention how they would move to countrysides of these worlds for greater protection and to make friends with other spirits who are trying to move away from playing the games. Chapter 16 (starts on page 1250Fires of Hell go into details on how many of the spirits from the former lower worlds can work their way up and graduate by helping other lost souls from various hells. As per the author, the coverage in chapter 15 might make for a good Hollywood movie. It also makes me wonder just out of curiosity if the upcoming tv series Angel From Hell and the upcoming movie Hell & Back are inspired by ideas from books such as this and other afterlife books (although I do understand that they are most likely marketed and/or publicized as fictional type of scripts). Anyhow, once the spirits movie up from the lower realms they are usually allowed a choice to either reincarnate back on earth and to live among spirits that previously lived among various lower worlds (belief system hells) and souls who previously lived in higher realms of light (various worlds that we know as heavens). The major caveats are that their length of earth lifetimes are not guaranteed and they have to be careful as to what influences are followed in order to move back up to residing in higher realms for their next afterlife. Chapter 19 Satan mentions the idea that the concept of Satan is actually taken from the most hardened spirits of the lower worlds who are adept at running the most cruel games. Sometimes these leaders of the dark worlds are able to be saved, other times they are not. In the times they are not, they are left to become just energy mists disappearing into a black hole. There is so much more to share about these chapters, but I intuitively feel guided to avoid doing so out of a feeling of heaviness I’m getting just writing about it. The fact that even the author himself had to get his spirit guide White Bear to accompany him gives a gentle warning to the reader on the subject matter of the chapters I just mentioned.
On a more upbeat note, the author also mentions about his meetings with one of his late mentors Robert Monroe, founder of the Monroe Institute. There is also mention of the land of angels and the Aperture. He also mentions about a book called the Diary of Henry After Death. I just wish that there were more physical details described as to what some of the higher worlds look like (there are many good authors to choose from for physical details of heavenly worlds, yet I would probably recommend Jurgen Ziewe or Wlliam Buhlman for novices to books on the physical details of heavenly worlds). Aside from that caveat, Voyage to Curiosity’s Father by Bruce Moen is still a riveting book to read and it actually unexpectedly helped me understand a little further the mechanics behind the Afterlife and why some souls willingly reincarnate into challenging lives of little initial emotional and/or spiritual support. Additionally, this author’s works is great for those who are in the process of bridging the gap between safely expressing their authentic selves while releasing external judgements about one’s perceived intellectual brilliance and/or potential.

This 10.9 ounce box of Hershey’s CookiesnCreme cereal definitely tastes as if corn puffs were simply dipped in melted hershey’s square dark and white chocolate candies. Obviously, I understand that this cereal was most likely processed completely different from the way I describe. In summary, the experience of eating chocolate candy in cereal form is obviously the best way I can summarize having a bowl of Hershey’s CookiesnCreme with milk.
